Think he's a decent defender for a club at the bottom, yeah, (I dare you to mention the fact that Wigan got relegated), Cleverley on the other hand is Championship standard.

Funny thing is mate, if Martinez would have had Cleverley under his charge from 19 till now, we would have seen a completely different player develop, when he had him as a young lad at Wigan he looked and played like he was gonna be a star for years to come, he went back to United and for whatever reason his attacking flair and instincts got completely coached out of him

Shows just how much impact having the right manager at that age can help or harm a player tbh

Part of me thinks would be interesting to see how the Martinez effect would change him actually, even though he's been shocking for United - so have all the rest Fellaini and Carrick included

Wigan got relega.....oh right.

I'm not so sure Hull fans would agree with you mate.

I'm sure Cleverley looked alright ish for a Wigan team that didn't go down.

i think the biggest question is..if we can get lukaku should we spend the majority of our budget on him? or go for a cheaper striker, and buy more players?

difficult isnt it! doesnt remy remmington have a release clause or suchlike..i think lukaku could be even better next season, i think anyone else we go for would be a risk

Lukaku.

He's 20. With Lukaku we have Stones - 19, McCarthy - 23, Barkely - 20, Lukaku - 20.

A pretty amazing spine of a team that should peak all around the same time. I suppose the danger is if one or more of them push to leave before they peak for us and win us multiple leagues.
