The leaks are a work of genius.

It does the club no harm to see its name linked in the press with almost every big blame manager....even if it is all bull.

And it keeps the fans buzzing.

I think at last we are showing a touch of the Machiavelli in the PR department ;)
 

Simeone!!,seriousy lads it's embarrassing the guys probably never ever heard of us before,if he leaves he'll go to Italy or psg and emery will end up at Madrid and we'll end up with someone like pelligrini or de boer instead.

Things have changed...but also things haven't changed...like for example Everton have a better record attendance at Goodison than Man Utd have at Old Trafford despite their redevelopment...plus also they have been relegated since the last time Everton were...so to me that makes Man Utd a smaller club than Everton...
 

If we fail with Emery we will likely settle for Pellegrini or De Boer as we want to have a manager settled by today week. I feel at that stage we should then go for Rudi Garcia( free) or Mancini or Prandelli (free but negotiating with Lazio?). Garcia won the league with Lille and got Roma repeatedly 2nd after their poor season with Enrique. Mancini was the architect of Man City's rise whilst Prandelli has a good track record. To me De Boer is unproven and his brother is making too much noise whilst the Pellegrini of the last 2 seasons both defensively and when he bought players was not good enough. I am glad Koeman did not come but if Emery does not I would go for the names mentioned. Even AVB is better than Pellegrini and De Boer
