It's all relative. Have you seen the state of england in the last 10 years?

My brother married a Canadian and lived there I. Ottawa. My neighbour here in Wiltshire is Canadian. My favourite youtuber (AvE) is one too. Then you have (as mentioned) Leonard Cohen, Joni Mitchell and Captain Kirk - all is good.

To me it's like the US is the evil parallel universe version of Canada.
