Everton reach Winks impasse?

Everton are trying to reach an agreement with Harry Winks but talks have reached an impasse according to the i paper's Sam Cunningham.
Talks for Winks are thought to have reached a stumbling block, with Everton preferring a season-long loan while Tottenham are pushing for a permanent transfer in the region of £20m.
Everton are now said to be pursuing other targets with the club unlikely to be able to spend £20m on one player until the end of the financial year or until a player is sold.
It’s not logical that they would hold talks for the last 3 days and then discover that one side wanted 20 million and the other thought it was a loan.

What on earth could the talks have been about before the impasse?

Journalists are such idiot’s.

….perhaps a loan to buy clause, or the amount of loan. Everton might have offered much less for a permanent deal, things happen.

You may be overestimating us there..... We have proven to not be the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to these matters

2 years in age.
One good enough to play out of position for the best team in the country, the other bombed out at spurs.
One captains his country and one struggles with confidence issues.
One wants to move to play, ones being moved as the team doesn't want him anywhere near them.
Ones very good, ones very average.

They're like two peas in a pod really...
If Zinchenko was right-footed, he'd have already left City without playing a minute in the first team.

Guardiola just last season said he was playing out of position mate and he was a central mid.

Kinda regard that more relevant than transfer markets circle sizes
Guardiola played him left back knowing he was a CM because they used to play inverted full backs, they`ve been overlapping more recently.

And if Barry was right footed he'd have hardly played for city.

Unreal conditionals are fun as they ultimately are pointless as well they explain things that aren't reality so if de bruyne was 4 foot tall he'd never have played football, only he isn't and so he has
