...Just waiting for when the Icelandic Player who can't be named is cleared or has their case dropped, and we're then linked with a new deal for him.

Seriously some of these rumours don't half get people wound up.

Wait and see.

It seems impossible for some to just wait until the windows closed before judging the owner, DOF, manager.

We signed Cahill, Jags, Coleman, Pienaar, Arteta and none of them were big exciting names but they fitted the system.

Fans just want big name or exotic looking signings these days so they can buzz on social media without questioning what will those signings actually bring to the side.
Owner? we allready know he is a nightmare owner, nothing that will happen in this window good or bad will teach us anything we dont allready know about him.

Totally agree on the fans wanting exotic looking signings thing, get some rubbish from Barcelonas reject list and they will get excitted, make a good move for a Burnley player and they moan

I’m just thankful moshiri has managed to get some funds together after the mess the chairman has made over the past few years , uncle Cyril would be spinning in his grave

Yeah funds to land us restricted by FFP, the 1.8m he got together last summer was a massive help

Hi, and welcome back from your ban.

As always this opportunity to reflect as not worked and you seem to be chatting even more wham, that I will counter:
- the owner has been judged. He’s been here 6 years and put us in this mess with his mishandling of the club. He’s not going to bum you so please stop this horrendous defence of the obnoxious little tit
- Steven Pienaar and Mikel Arteta were well known, talented players whose moves to their previous clubs did not work out. Tim Cahill was regularly banging in goals for Milwall, Seamus Coleman was sent on loan to get experience and Phil Jagielka was slowly introduced into the team.
- fans don’t want “exotic” names, they want players who will improve us. Seeing a winger that has 7 goals and 18 assists in his entire career, that is coming into a team that struggled to create or score raised more concerns.

now quick, say something without sounding cringe

I agree grays and townsends goals where vital
Gray and Townsend were two fantastic pieces of buisness, along with Myko in the winter window, last year our recruitment was better then it had been for a while, its like we went back to the model that worked so well under Moyes/Kenwright, actually spending money wise and searching whats available

It's hard to reconcile us doing great business with us dropping 6 places in the league, no?
