The trouble with those stats are Batshuayi has scored most of his goals for a team that creates loads of chances and won games. DCL got his playing for us. Even Aguero would struggle with the dross we've had supplying assists over the last few years.

We’ve scored 12 more goals than Palace in the last three seasons, so not really sure that’s true. Palace were actually miles behind on that metric until last season, when our main striker was out for months on end.

I’m not sure Palace create that much more than us really.

I would bet that even at 43 years old, he would cover more ground and make more interceptions than davies and gomes combined

Out of interest, in the season where he got 4 for Palace, what happened ? Was he just left on the bench because of Zaha or something ?

He scored 5 in 11 PL appearances. Think it was only a half season loan.

His loan with them 20/21 season he was primarily a sub and mainly benched, only started 7 and only subbed on 11 further times.

Once Gana is wrapped up I dont expect any other movement until the windows end i.e Cornet + Gilmour or similiar.

Gana and an attacker are needed asap. After that io guess yes let's try and flog some deadwood (Gomes, Gbamin) and get 1 or 2 more in closer to the window. Maybe just maybe players like Gallagher or MGW will become available

This would surely have an impact on Gallagher’s loan availability if true.
