While I'm blaming Dyche for lack of progress it's clear there something lacking at the core of Onana's attention and as such, the core of his character (as dr. iain mcgilchrist says - attending to is a moral act)
Onana's performance in the first half was Nyarko-esque. Had the opportunity to stand out against a youthful and dynamic midfield and bottled it. Shameful.
Look at the clubs though. 2 newly promoted trying to stay in the league and spent (Leeds & Forest)
Then you have us, Leicester, villa, Newcastle who have attempted to gate crash the top 4 or sustain being a "top" 6 club.
The way things are set...
Bit harsh. Onana needs the right coach and discipline, think he could make and exceptional 6. Idrissa continues to do a decent job, it all about the players around him that make him a virtue, as they are for him.
I’d like to see Gomez there as well and his legs were my concern also.
If dyche would have him come on prior to anything around 60’ and it was just his role regularly as a 10, could offer us something.
Sad reality but he is are only creative...
Sure the depth is a problem but if you take Onana and Idrissa out it, would be for most teams
I don't see a problem with Douc as CM and Gomes at 10 for this match, the problem is Dyche's inflexibility in tactics and lack of rotation, and subtext...
