    The proposed rules are to ensure the EPL fall into line with the European model, which makes sense given English clubs play in Europe. However the European model is even more prohibitive than it is currently I think.

    It's just shows the potential of the cash income from the stadium. I think our current annual income is around 13-14m for gate receipts? Although I would add that 3k for a corporate ticket is very cheap compared to the rest of the league.

    You might be right, but if clubs are run more sustainably then that should mean there wont be spiraling wages and transfer fees. Which should mean reduced match tickets etc And yes I live cloud cuckoo land.

    I agree with this but there is also another angle. Because the wages were so high, it is quite probable that the players who have left, we are continuing to contribute towards their wages even now.

    I just dont understand how Chelsea have not been charged. My back of the packet calculations from their published results say that they needed to make a profit of over a 100m in the last accounts to only loose 105m. I dont understand why it is so quiet with them.
