Hi Dixie, I am from Northern Ireland and got a lot of grief in the 70s for supporting Everton, sectarian grief as the people who use religeon for their own ends aren't religeous but bigots, as Everton were seen as a Roman catholic team ( ever though their roots are as a methodist team. I always wondered how the idea came about that Everton were a catholic team, thanks for your post mate.
