The modern game of football, truly a shadow of what it used to be. Shouldn’t be any financial controls, it an owner can’t be responsible then that’s on them. Shouldn’t be up to the league to tell anyone what money they can and cannot spend.

Besic and Rodwell would be in central midfield. Hyped to the max and both crap. Godfrey would be one of the centre halfs.

If Luton are relegated, then he should be replaced by Barkley, and I’d consider that an upgrade for next season.

Dymak replied to the thread 2023/24 Jarrad Branthwaite.
Whilst a mega-bucks sale of Branthwaite will be very convenient this summer (like a get out of jail card in some ways), his sale is going to leave a rather large Branthwaite sized whole in our defence once he has gone. Replacing him isn't going...

Paying off the MSP loan and having the 777 loans turned into equity would significantly improve our position, no? According to the figures being spoken of, it would reduce our debt by over £300 million, and would only leave us in about 150...

“An appropriate and fully independent legal panel”… not a court then? Is this really ‘legal action’ when they’re suggesting the hearing should be held by a non-existent panel with no authority?

These rules were only ever brought in because Manchester City’s new wealth put a lot of noses out of joint, and the objective was to prevent City from overtaking the likes of us and then buying their way to constant success. The irony is that...

I hope all the idiots who booed and abused those of us who tried to make a difference during the walkout protest years ago are happy now. You morons deserve this.

Lawsuits are very expensive, and there’s no guarantee of the outcome, especially here when there is supposedly an agreement of the ‘rules’ between all participating clubs. Very few clubs would have the means and the balls to commence a lawsuit...

Both of those clubs are sailing close to the wind (on both versions of the PSR rules - this year's and next), I doubt they will be making big purchases without even bigger sales. The whole system is broken.

The clubs that would be able to afford the fee that they will be demanding aren't necessarily going to be interested in Gibbs-White imo. Maybe Newcastle or Villa would be willing to pay for him, but he's not going to attract the clubs above that...
