The thing with this is that he'd be very limited in the circumstances we could use him. We are either chasing the game and his passing will break attacks down or we are trying to hold onto a lead and his passing will cause us trouble. For me, he's best used in games where we expect to have...

Feels like he's gone in the summer. I think the England omission has made him rethink his future here. He'll be on his way to one of the media darlings. I think we've also decided he's the best chance to rebuild without massive investment.

Can we not just have a few month without a crisis, sacking or panic. We're safe, our season is about where in mid table we can finish. We still need to resolve our backroom appointments and deal with an important summer. Picking up draws when we're all but guaranteed safety shouldnt be a reason...

We aren't a team like Bournemouth though unfortunately. Summer presents a chance to clear out and get some pace and youth.

I think thats the key point. They've been poor in recent weeks. The loss in the CL and League Cup. Poor performances in the league. Unresolved issues with Salah and VVD. It's a early defensive mechanism in case they falter in the league (get the excuses in early just in case).

Remember the VVD tackle on Onana that was completely overlooked by the media. "probably an orange card" was the way it was billed by supposedly neutral pundits.

Didn't the PGMOL put out a clarification mid game as to why it wasn't a red card?

It's bizarre how Liverpool fans genuinely believe this. For both derby games this season, you've been poor and most have felt disappointed we haven't won. You're going to win the league at a canter, are you that emotionally fragile that you need to pretend that everyone is obsessed with you as...

I was listening to a bit of the game on 5Live last night. The language used about both decisions was telling. Tarkowski - horror tackle, definite contraversial decision, huge talking point, lucky to be on the pitch. Jota goal - perhaps a point for conversation, reason to be aggrieved...

It's been very noticeable the time our VAR decisions are scrutinised vs those of the teams we play.

I have at no point said he's a good player or a player I want to see continue playing, in fact, I said the exact opposite in my last post. Once again, the question was "what do managers see in him". I guess being able to read, doesn't equate to being able to understand words.
