Funny, but I'm the complete opposite. I absolutely love going to Goodison and am going to savour every one of the remaining 19 (plus cup games) times that I get to go there.
Yes, it's tired and the facilities are naff but it will always be magic...
Superb that 💙
I'm gonna be an absolute mess that last game at the old girl. I know a lot on this thread have put Goodison down (in fairness probably more due to the excitement of the move than anything vindictive), but to me Goodison is home...
I think we where looking on giving most of it away to developers that had viable plans to carry out the various developments in Goodison Legacy Project
Another relegation battle again next season, if we have to sell to stay afloat it could be tough, but without the a point deduction we should hopefully be alright with ganes to spare
That's me. Age 46 and counting.
I get we have to move, but I find it mad with the shouts of "I can't wait to leave because-
A the facilities are crap
B the toilets are crap
C the ale is crap
D the football is crap
Answers are
A - yes they...
It's a long time since I had a season ticket but....
Scott Gemmil, John Oster, Danny Williamson, Stuart Barlow, Tobias Linderoth
Privileged to have seen them all under the Goodison lights.
That Nike effort was one of ugliest kits in my opinion. Horrible material, oversized and flimsy collar, 2 massive white bands around each arm and the bee hive badge to top it off. Uuuurgh
I've got nothing to get over. I was looking at sites on central docks when you were probably happy-clapping Kenwright and Kirkby. The only thing that is severely outdated is the myth that he and his cronies started, and that some here still...
[Poor language removed] pub, and heard nothing but nightmares about the coaches from the over the years, over sold, no shows, fighting for seats, fighting for tickets etc.
Will likely be the first the close once we move ground, most people who drink in there on a...
The Goodison legacy project plans all show the statues still in place, daft even thinking of removing them, should remain at Goodison.
The club can (and will) just commission new statues for BMD, not a case of only having them in one place😂
I might be on my own here but I kinda feel like the statues shouldn't move.
Dean or the holy trinity didn't play at BMD.
As time goes on, there'll be less and less trace that Everton ever played at Goodison.
Murals will be painted over, pubs...
Can’t we have statues of club legends at both locations?
Don’t think WRD and the others not playing at BMD should preclude them having a statue there 🤷🏻♂️
You'll be fine, with only wanting 2 tickets together you will be pretty much be able to choose where you want to sit, 44 & 10 years will both be pretty high on continuous STs.
The people who will struggle will likely be any group wanting 5 or...
