I wouldn't be calling him a club legend in any way. Arguably one of the greatest to come through our ranks, no doubt about it and showed in his short time with us, that he was a special talent, however his best years were spent elsewhere
…not as a player, he did entirely the right thing for himself and his career when he left but I’ve never doubted his allegiance to the club as a supporter. I like the lad, loved watching him play he was probably the last of the English street...
I believe Goodison is pretty important in the development of Women's Football, so seems apt that it would stay for this purpose.
