At least we’ve got enough with starting 11 to be comfortably mid table. Difference this season is we will probably not be in a relegation fight.- so could pay off within a couple of years…. Hopefully!!
I’ve gone for Barry to start purely because I think Beto can make a good impact player off the bench with his chaotic determination when up against tired legs.- as shown today!
He’s under way more pressure than what was intended because Beto has been so poor and we are looking for him to step up!
Ideal world is he’d be a bench player getting minutes in controlled manner.
Not sure personally, he didn’t do badly but him being replaced by alcaraz proved the biggest difference.
Dibling was tidy and played safe but probably didn’t get out of second gear whereas alcaraz came on and took the game by scruff of the neck.
It turned out to be a bad decision by Moyes but let’s get something right, he wasn’t resting players, he was giving some other players a chance to stake a claim. There’s a difference.
I was quite pleased to see Dibling and Barry starting as was many other blues… until it started going wrong...
I thought the KDH and Jack did well when they came on…. Keane was fine aswell.
I agree we had some very poor performances in there, but not all but one though.
