Everton Summer Transfer Thread - 2022

Can't lie, he looks class. Definitely flown under the radar too.. Could be a smart long term signing.

Seen a bit of discussion about Gilmour here. My opinion on him: He's clearly got a bit about him in terms of pass appreciation and dictating tempo as well as moving the ball quickly. However, he's not got much of a shot on him, doesn't drive past players (beyond a feint here and there) and has...

Everton Summer Transfer Thread - 2022

As it stands, I can't see us willing to part with either permanently before Tuchel has had a look at least. I do think Colwill is likely to be loaned out on account of his age however - especially if we're able to get two CBs in quickly. Gallagher is a bit more tricky, we've got at least 4 guys...

    Levi Colwill

Pretty sure this doesn't apply for those under the age of 21 or for club trained players. So Chelsea would still be able to loan the youngsters - just would have to get rid of the Bakayokos, Kenedys, and Drinkwaters..

Everton Summer Transfer Thread - 2022

There was a fair bit of noise today that the takeover would be completed this week (supposedly the next few days). So, I reckon that obstacle won't pose a problem much longer.. But really, having watched Everton play this season - I reckon the other need is for one of the Chelsea midfielders...

Chelsea perspective on Colwill - he's already got more plaudits than Guehi and Tomori have with their Championship loans. Really looks the part too with the frame and athleticism but I think the fact that Chelsea are short at the CB position heading into the new season makes it a bit more...

Everton Summer Transfer Thread - 2022

Reckon far too much importance is thrown at starting formations and how the eleven line up on paper with the way the game is played these days.. Most teams have different shapes for each phase of the game (in possession, out of possession, and in transition - broadly speaking) and there's a...

Match Thread Tottenham vs Everton - Preview, Match Report and MotM Poll

Holgate and Branthwaite look just as piss.. Honestly I'm shocked that Kenny is the best of the lot.

DCL just doesn't look comfortable at all.

    Rigged league

That is the rule but it's still a moot point because it was almost 95 percent in the red area. Just disgusting refereeing and a sackable offence imo.

    Rigged league

For those saying it was ruled out for offside, it was not. This was mentioned on Sky as well just now...

    2021/22 Donny van de Beek

I feel like a midfield of Allan sitting with Doucoure and VDB as the 8s would be just perfection. Hopefully get to see it some time this season!

    2021/22 Frank Lampard

In the interview it didn't sound anything like that - just threw some names about how when they go forward, they'd have to assess the situation for themselves(but within the structure of the system). Also said that Donny and Dele can play together(in some flexible system or something) and that...

    2021/22 Frank Lampard

This interview from a couple of months ago came up on my suggestions. Interesting watch I thought - talking about bits of both playing and managing.
