It amuses me how some fans of other clubs genuinely think the Premier League are favouring Everton with their decisions. Do they watch football? Have they seen the horrific decisions against Everton over the past three seasons? Do they realise Everton have had 8 points subtracted from their...

I thought the same. First incident was very soft. Reyna planted his foot after any initial contact then went down. I don't think there was enough contact to go down and therefore no penalty. Second incident the claim for handball well after handball was not given against Jack Grealish against...

Joe Royle until end of the season. Say a few words to juice up the guys. Stay up. Bring in a new manager in the summer.

Could we afford to sack him and bring in Joe Royle for the last few games to stay up?

Let's hope for one more away day shock result to bookend the weekend's results!

I'm no fan of Koeman but Everton stated off with horrible fixtures during that season.

I just checked and yes. Great memory!

I just checked. 8th with 49 points! Shocking depth to the league back then.

Quite. It was a far poorer league and we were very spawny to bag 8th spot with a paltry points tally from memory.

True. Allardyce was another terrible decision as it was wholly unnecessary for the reasons given above. It merely resulted in spunking our load on more junk - Allardyce signed Tuson and Walcott for circa £50 million plus a golden handshake to Allardyce.

I accept the club has been very poorly run and the salaries have been woefully ill advised yet if the club had not opted to build a new stadium would Everton have still breached FFP? If the answer is no then clearly the stadium costs were a key factor.

Having just read some posts on the Luton forum...it's a good indication of why this country is going down the shoot with so many stupid people who don't understand the mitigating arguments. Jeepers creepers.

I agree in that Everton would likely be shorter but no way Brentford should be 20/1 unless a points deduction for Everton was incoming.

    6 + 2 Point Deductions

People said Everton were generally 7/1 to be relegated after beating Burnley a few days ago. 5/1 now. Difficult to tell with betfair as there's little liquidity but it was 7.0 to back after beating Burnley - now 5.4 to back and 6.8 to lay. It might just be people guessing and backing relegation...

Judging by the betting it looks like circa 4 points. Disgusting.
