What would the best set-up be to try and grind out a 0-0?
Even that is pretty much impossible, only a handful of times in the last few years where they haven't scored at Anfield.
Glad it worked out yesterday with him benched after Chelsea. However, he won't struggle at all to get to a Champions League club. The issue is that he'll end up selling for relatively cheap because we don't play in any way that showcases midfield talent.
Haven't been able to watch the game today unfortunately - can someone tell me, has Sean Dyche successfully managed to change the Everton narrative yet?
I think this is the case in any team or organisation that's failing.
I just don't buy that this is due to the repeated behaviour of a single bad egg in our squad who has been consistent from Koeman to now. Certainly not Pickford/Coleman.
That's why I don't think Dominic King would name anyone...
Who though?
Definitely not Coleman - all of the managers raved about him.
Gomes? Pickford? DCL? Keane?
There genuinely aren't enough players that have constantly featured throughout this terrible era to pin it on a rotten core of players. We've cleared out the crap, and brought in the crap...
He has to come off the bench. Years of this, we know this by now.
The guy can not compete against fully rested players. He's only ever shown his class coming on against tired opponents.
