He is quite clearly not.
You try and knock it down to a team who don't want to be in the same post code as you.

A striker who thrives on crosses with a supply line that doesn't cross the ball and have provided a sum total of no assists this year.

Ancelotti knew how to use him and you saw what he can (could) do. Seems Frank doesn't unfortunately.

We won’t miss him. He’s absolute shabite.
Disagree...compare to maupay, he is like messi/ronaldo level. The reality is that we need him as we will not be getting anything better in January. Medical team better not going on holidays during the world cup and should work with him day in and day out with organised behind doors competitive matches so that he can build his fitness slowly and properly.

Absolute crap. Honestly for a centre forward that is bread and butter that chance. He does this time and time again. No way is he 20 goal striker you’ll get 10+ at best. Same with Maupay. Upfront we aren’t good. He’s living off his season with ancelotti. One touch finish is all he’s good at, give him time to think he crumbles. I would honestly sell him. I don’t rate him at all. Thinks he’s better than he is.

Career will probably peter out in a similar vein to Andy Carroll.

Be a useful target man to stick on when chasing a game, but we need to prioritise a new CF.
It's a shame the injuries have done him.

Honestly reckon you could put prime Aguero up front in that team and he'd struggle though. There's no supply line, the wide areas are championship level.

He made a goal scoring chance then fluffed on - it was definitely take the ball around the keeper .... the team behind him are useless - Maupay struggled the same way as DCL - but if thats his old injury - hes finished - we need at least two goal scorers & a fast winger ....

He was awful for the last 6 months of Ancelotti too. You just can’t rely on a team to have to create absolute sitters from 3 yards out every week.

Ancelotti had 3 supply lines in the team in Digne, James, and Gylfi feeding him the ball though, we just don't have that creativity anymore.
