True, his international record stands alone. As in no manager/coach has ever had a squad that decent and failed to get to a final, never mind win something.
This is his 5th tournament with Belgium if you count the nations league.

I suppose we can just write off all competitions for various reasons then.
If you asked fans of France and Portugal who got to celebrate winning the competition if it felt Mickey Mouse or not they might have a different opinion...and if that is the case, more of a reason for a country like Belgium to try and win a 2nd tier trophy where the others might use to blood new players etc.
