Of course this doesn’t mean we will go into administration. And, as someone said earlier, debt restructuring is good (especially for us). But the fact we’re even discussing it was unthinkable a few years back. How did we come to this?

To be fair the Guardian have sexed it up a bit by using "insolvency experts" rather than "debt restructuring experts" as Bloomberg did to refer to the same experts. They haven't reported any untrue but they are certainly maximising clicks.

If we are getting consultation on debt restructuring that is something that should be happening in all circumstances.

Rather an unpopular option but maybe the PL are not pushing the 777 deal through as they know it’s bad for Everton (and their image) so are adding multiple hurdles to avoid Mosh selling to them in hope of an alternative appearing?
