Guardiola made some strange decisions: not the least of which was blowing Palmer to leave. And yes, KDB has gone into decline. Rodri was a huge early casualty.

However, even with all that they are studded with wold class players and should have been nip and tuck with Liverpool right now. Easily.

I think Salah is a whole other ball game tho. You could argue he’s the best in that position in the world. They were all creaming there pants last season when they signed Chiesa saying he’ll be Salah’s replacement for 10m haha. Salah has crossed the 20 goal mark 5 seasons at Liverpool, and he’s not even an out and out striker. I couldn’t think of a single player that they could get that would do that.
 

Alan Shearer last night was so bad, and spoke absolute nonsense.

He said about Szoboszlai "Look at the work rate form him, he never stops running" - He stands still most of the time....his own midfielders run past him all game.

1 time he chased a ball into the corner flag, he gave away a free kick, and Shearer then said that!!! 🤣 🤣

Szoboszlai is lazy.

Yes, he's a one off. Incredible player.

But they'll get a Suarez from somewhere. Unfortunately.
