dyche thinks

Today on: "I will keep repeating the things no one has ever really said".

People disliked the literal worst football likely ever witnessed at Goodison, and up there for worst in the Prem, fans leaving the stadium, fans not even going to the game because of that, and of course the logical conclusion isn't that the football was terrible, but "it was the fans".

Jesus wept

I admire the loyalty. But when does it become madness.
Every positive statistic doubled in the few weeks after he left. Goals. Points. Wins, including away wins.

He was killing Everton.

No one group represents the majority of the fans.

If im honest i think in the main - most "supporters" are in the he did a good job, in difficult circumstances but then it crashed and burned camp and it was time to move on, when the circumstances allowed.

I don't think any side of the polarization can claim to be the majority of "fans".

The gratification of staying in the PL is also a very good point - i mean he did it. Its also telling and huge contributor to the trigger of behaviors.

I understand the behavior of wanting him out.

The fear is getting relegated.

Fear, leads to anxiety, anxiety builds until it becomes unbearable, anxiety is a motivating emotion that leads to a behavior or wanting to relieve personal feelings of fear and anxiety - through action.

Hence wanting someone sacked to relieve your fear and anxiety. Different people have a different bandwidth and capacity for this.

Textbook really.

I see the polaisation based on two things micro and macro analysis.

One side see just what is in front of them and want the instant gratification of being "entertained" - that's the standard position - as per your post above.

The second recognise the macro systemic analysis of being in a period risk of and austerity - that threatened the wellbeing of the club holsitically, they accommodated the "cut your cloth" accordingly measures to manage the austerity and preserve the club. In a sense having to take the medicine and run the anti virus.

Its that simple really.

Which of the above was best for the club.........

WTF

Hahaha ooooh welp. This one’s gonna go down well.

So the truth has come out in the end: the players believed they couldn't handle the pressure and and so Dyche took the decision to leave them in the hands of another coach who might get the extra bit of confidence out to save the club. A story that can be backed up by Moyes himself.

The more I hear about this feller the more I respect him.
