vYeah but people like Dave aren't waiting and seeing are they? So we are compelled to fight his negativity with positively.
What do you think would happen if Goodison held 40000 Daves on a match day?

Waive a red flag? Don't think that's acceptable on here mate.It seems we cant even have hope no more as an Everton fan.
I get the caution over the new owners but until they give us something to waive a red flag then i'm going to be very optimistic.
No, they spent a lot of money delisting the club - Roma was publicly traded - and now they own 100% of the shares.Did they do something similar with Roma? As in, bringing people onto the board who aren’t actually footballing people but are more general businessmen? It feels like they’re building for the future with this group, and I buy into the theories people have been putting forward about using Everton as a way to get involved in the redevelopment of the area around the new stadium. I just hope that whatever the internal structure of Everton is under this new board, there’s a clear plan of responsibility and accountability as that’s the only way things will actually change.
Soon as i saw him joining i thought is an NBA franchise coming? The Nelson Dock could probably rival the Echo Arena…so we’d have even more money…plus more room for sponsorshipJust a hunch but maybe the Nelson Dock will house a European NBA franchise. It’s been mooted recently.

Agree with this. Never heard of him or the cat announced yesterday.I never heard of this guy, I guess it's welcome.
It's not "jobs for the boys" it seems more like "opportunities to join the ownership group for prominent Texans who have expertise and/or cash to contribute".
I suppose that's progress of a sort. This might work if these type of people spend 1 or 2 days a year looking at the clubs operations, and holding the executive team to account. We've never had that in the modern era on the business side at least - proper accountability and consequences for non-delivery. We need some devils advocates in there rather than happy clappers.
I hope Friedkins private jet is big enough, when all the folks decide to fly in from Houston. Wonder if there'll be much more of this, maybe a few yet to come.
Wish I was that skintI don't understand what a man who only has 85m is doing investing into a multi billion pound football club.
Tom Brady at Birmingham didnt end up especially wellWell thats a surprise.
I dont think its particular useful to us, but what it DOES is show the appeal Everton and the new ownership group currently have. To have a NBA HOFer join up for even just a small part of the ownership group is a bit of star power and maybe a sign bigger names will follow. Of course Kidd is also from Texas, like the new minority billionaire.

But I don't think this can be considered as a statement of intent. Perhaps they didn't find minority investors for Roma. I also think that, as long as TFG retains a solid majority of shares, having minority shareholders who help sustaining the financial burden might be a good thing.
