He had an eye for a young talent, wanted his teams to get on the ball and impose themselves on the game and would give younger players a chance. Also had a knack for convincing players to sign for us.
Obviously he had deficiencies as a coach back the but in the more conceptual element of how a football club should be ran I liked him.
As a DoF he wouldn't be picking the team or doing set piece drills with them.
