Mad the way so many are happy for him to leave on the back of two poor games in which he has had to play out of position with no focal point to aim for. If he scores two against Forest there will all of a sudden be uproar at the thought of losing a home grown star and protests on a Rooney scale.

Bigger picture. He is still unfulfilled potential. His end product and decision making needs to improve a lot but he has time and the right attitude to do it. What he did last season may not have been world class but the character, determination and mindset he showed means there is every chance this lad will drive himself to better things. Keep this lad and invest in him.

Not many will agree though as he’s been poor for two games. Wish people could see a bigger picture

That fact that it can be guaranteed this will never happen no matter what position he is playing is exactly why we should take the money

I think the club already know if we are selling him, we're just playing hard to up the fee, like Swansea did on us for Siggy.
Be interesting too see if he plays on Saturday, if he doesn't we can read into that if we want, personally I wouldn't risk him getting injured

If he hasn't been sold then of course he should play

The potential is £50 big ones buys us a few options.

He is limited, currently.

Needs must when the devil vomits in your coffee.

Should be looking for at least that. Chelsea have the money.
Based on what? Fofana at £80m is bonkers but at least has a couple of seasons in Europe and an FA CUP for Leicester to justify his value. Flash has nothing and poor numbers as an attacker but we should be demanding more? Don't get this delusion.
I don't we should sell him but if he were to go £50m we'd have done extremely well.

Such a shame that we are selling Gordon and a bigger shame that the fan base is split down the middle on it.. The cycle of selling our best players just keeps continuing, I really thought these days were behind us.

We are farther away than we have ever been and it's utterly depressing.
Richy is Gordon not, he is just a youngster with good potential.
