Smashin brew this, given its maple and pecan designation I was somewhat expecting a pastry stout type affair, but not so. The syrup and nuts comes through largely on the nose, but the taste is dry and not too sweet with a lot of red fruit and liquorice notes with some coffee. Great stuff.

Finally got round to Late Night With The Devil last night, really enjoyed it. The moral lesson is telegraphed early but it still unfolds with style and the finale is most splendidily crackers which I've not seen in a horror flick for a while, not since The Void I reckon.
