Its where we are as a team. Will only get harder now ndiaye is gone too. We will be scrapping away but can see us being around 12th by the time the afcon is over. Just need to stay in touch really

It feels a bit like the newcastle game where it seems the gap between midfield and defence isnt right and they are looking dangerous every attack

Match Thread Chelsea 2-0 Everton. Sat Dec 13th. 3pm

Chelsea have only won 3 of 7 at home this season, yet we have been so easy to score against. They have been clinical and incisive to be fair and deserve to be 2 nil up on that basis. But its more crap at Stamford Bridge for us.

    2025/26 David Moyes

Im made up with how well moyes i doing. We are certainly ahead of schedule considering what our expectations should be. There hasnt been a single manager since Moyes left who has been able to get such a tune out of the team. With the exception of Martinez first season but it all fell apart for...

What's your very earliest Everton related memory?

Early 90s i was very young like 5. Remember my dad watching Everton and being that age I had no interest at all. I seem to just remember a particular moment where everton hit the bar in a match, or my dad saying the phrase 'go on son.'

So what estevao did there. Surely thats worse than what allan got sent off for against newcastle. It was clear and blatant

Just what are we getting out of our relationship with the Hill Dickinson company?

Whats 18 million in football terms these days? A gbamin? A maupay? I think surely the 6 million a year is closer to the mark for a premier league football club. 3 million a year? Surely not... whats that a weeks wages for the squad?

Do you think the old 2 point system worked well? Or are we better off for the 3 points?

Cant see forest going. Too many good players and a pragmatic manager. Leeds, burnley and wolves are simply gone.... theres noone else bad enough to go with them. West ham will maybe be a close 4th bottom

Match Thread Bournemouth 0-1 Everton. Tue Dec 2. 7.30

Yeah we were, but the point being that i just dont see us as having the goals in us to be doing better than we are. I just cant agree that we are underachieving. I would say slightly overachieving

Just watched it again and looks even less like a penalty. Var had the luxury to see it 30 times and still think it is? Seriously?

Match Thread Bournemouth 0-1 Everton. Tue Dec 2. 7.30

Not sure i agree. I mean we arent that good. We played a bit of an out of form team today who were missing a few first teamers and we did a good job. But i still dont believe we are good enough for top half. But if we hang in there until jan and bring in a right back and a goalscorer then we...

I had questions over his pace but his carrying of the ball and gaining us territorial advantage was pivotal today

Gave man of the match to dewsbury hall because he was excellent. But o brien was brilliant too. Good to know he can be very effective at centre back.

Grealish slowed down the attack there and then booted it off. He needs to do more
