    Transfer Rumour Harry Winks

Another one paced midfielder who doesn’t excel at anything. Brilliant

That makes sense although i thought government were talking about banning gambling sponsors soon

    2021/22 Andre Gomes

Unfortunately I don’t see how we get rid of him without heavily subsidising his wages - no-one is going to pay a fee and match what we’re paying him

Noddy question here but we’ve exercised our option to curtail the cazoo deal which was apparently worth £9.6m per year for a deal which is worth “over £10 mill” which in Everton speak will mean £10.0000001m. Is it worth it for the bad PR? I could understand it if it was say £15-20m but it...

    2021/22 The Everton Board Thread

Hopefully the ground gets built and a more competent individual/consortium buys us - don’t feel like this guy is ever going to really learn - I might have my timelines wrong but didn’t we appoint to all these posts prior to the conclusion of this strategic review?

    2021/22 Ben Godfrey

I hope so but I’m not convinced by him in a 2 - like you say playing alongside a leader at the back may bring him on. I suspect lampard wants to play a 3 so long as he gets the right additions in

    2021/22 Ben Godfrey

If we played an aggressive three at the back with two wing backs - bit like chelsea did in the carabao cup final then I think he could play as one of the three as I think man to man marking, high up the pitch would suit him - bit like rudiger did/does. Any other system and I think he’d be a...

    2021/22 Jonjoe Kenny

Disappointing if we haven’t got anyone coming through the youth team that could fulfil that emergency role. He’s nowhere near good enough - I think he’d struggle in the championship. Hopefully he’ll take one of them German options up
  9. Q

Was thinking exactly that - he’s the type of player we simply don’t have. Got the wrong ex spurs player in

Match Thread Watford v Everton - Preview, Match Report and MotM Poll

It’s just confirming what we already knew - if we can get out of jail this season we simply have to rip up this team else we’ll be in it next season

They’re trying but we don’t really have the quality on the ball. Hoping for a yerry header from a set piece

    Media relishing Everton’s demise

I’ve always viewed villa as on a par with us - founder members, both home to a historic stadium, boast a European cup whilst we have a couple more titles. The others not so much.

    Match Thread Liverpool v Everton : Sunday 24th April 2022 : Kick Off 4.30pm

I know it’ll have been done to death but having such a biased get like carragher on co-comms - its just unnecessarily antagonistic on sky’s part - he should be sitting with souness, redknapp, cates etc… in the studio and cheer leading from there instead of insulting my ears for 90 mins.

    Match Thread Liverpool v Everton : Sunday 24th April 2022 : Kick Off 4.30pm

Strange game - we chased shadows for most of it yet on balance had the clearer cut chances. Desperate for 3 pts at the start but you never know - that point might keep us up

    2021/22 Salomón Rondón

Looked a lot fitter and as others have said gave us a focal point - I don’t think we can play richy up top particularly the form gray is in so i’d be starting him going forward, at least until dcl is properly fit (which may not be this season)
