    Who is our best player?

    Kipper-esque. You're better than that.

    2022/23 Alex Iwobi

Right now he's undropable. His work rate is top notch and his eye for pass is probably the best in the squad. His ball to Gray for the 2nd half one on one v Silva the pick of the bunch. If we get the signings through the door we dangerously close to having options with formation. I'm...

    New Everton Stadium Discussion

Pretty sure the planning doc said a museum on the history of the docks area (as apposed to EFC) I may be wrong. Unusual, but it happens.

    2022/23 Yerry Mina

This will be his first comeback game

    2022/23 Yerry Mina

I wasn't advocating the club forks out for it. Lots of players pay for their own fitness/physios (usually in close season) The fella has been an unmitigated disaster of a signing. If anybody comes up with "Great player when he's fit" I'll have to crack open another bottle.

    2022/23 Yerry Mina

I made the NBA reference yesterday. Daft as it sounds an NBA conditioning coach may help him. (though I'd rather he's just volleyed thousands of miles away now)

    All or nothing: Everton

I think next season would be absolutely perfect Last season (scheduled) at Goodison Park, following Chongy on his site visits to BM, tearful fans at the thought of leaving Goodison. Not saying I'm for it but next season is the one. (maybe a 2 year deal to cover BM too)

    Transfer Rumour Amadou Onana

I know, it's most unusual for Evertonians.

    New Everton Stadium Discussion

It's funny, I was watching Sunderland last week and they have there Roker Leitch crosses projected on electronic advertising hoardings around the stands midway point. That looked horrific. I think If done properly on the brick cladding it can look 'ok' but I wouldn't have been bothered had...

    New Everton Stadium Discussion

I know you're not the biggest fan of the historical nods, but I'm really looking forward to seeing the restored hydraulic tower/pumphouse. I reckon it's going to look ace. Another 'unique' feature for Everton, a little bit like St. Lukes albeit a bit apart.

    2022/23 Yerry Mina

Yep, MLS is his only viable option. Maybe Beckhams lot in Miami. Infact, we should have been pestering Phil Nev all summer to take him. A huge draw for all the Colombians in Miami. Easy, this DoF lark.

    Confirmed Signing Conor Coady

  13. BNJ1878

    Tarky Tarks Tarko

Lost on 90% of the young 'uns
  14. BNJ1878

    Onana & Gueye

Yeah, sorry added a bit later with an edit. Formations/strategies have changed over time. But yes, 2 for Tarkowski and 3 for Patterson is irritating. Far more than a forward being an 8.
  15. BNJ1878

    Onana & Gueye

To be fair he said Gana and Onana 'by Tuesday' so he has today and tomorrow to play with. Coady is a errrr, bonus.
  16. BNJ1878

    Onana & Gueye

:coffee: Loads of our numbers are weird. A Centre Back has 2, a Left Back has 3. Actually, a lot of the traditional numbers are based on formations not even used anymore so it's pretty meaningless.
  17. BNJ1878

    Onana & Gueye

Is today the day? Properly excited about: The 2 mentioned players The potential squad number allocation. I would genuinely celebrate as we'd scored a goal if @TheKr0w is proved correct.

    Transfer Rumour Amadou Onana

What a strange episode that was. Looked great for a couple of games then Emir got him on the scriptures. Nice one. Completely forgot about the one sock wonder.
  19. BNJ1878

    Transfer Rumour Amadou Onana

Off the top of my head Dacourt, Madar, Maguye Guaye (spelling?) and John Collins. Must be more.
  20. BNJ1878

    2022/23 Yerry Mina

I'm annoyed with myself for thinking he might manage even 20+ games this season. I'd even convinced myself he was worth keeping around, even on his ludicrous wage. I can't see anyone in a European league bothering with him. MLS next call.
