Everton Summer Transfer Thread - 2022

That's only if we can find one that can play anywhere across the front three - if they can do a bit of block laying or plastering too we might move earlier.

    2022/23 Amadou Onana

I think we all knew what was coming when he lost the ball in the center circle (while trying to tern!), but there are other teams where this defensive situation does not end in a goal.

We have to get back to a four man defence

Going to be 3/5 at the back under Lampard 95% of the time. I can even see Seamus coming back as a centre back in a 3.

You'd have to ask him about details of his model. Last season he had Brentford safely as a mid table side but the other two as relegation fodder. The season before he was high on Leeds.

Yes, but he's been factoring the adjustment from the championship for a number of years now and has a pretty good handle on it (in so far as anyone can). I'd imagine that including new signings (and players gone like Richarlison) isn't likely to make us look much better at the moment.

Saw this today - basically ratings of attacks and defenses at the end of last season done by a guy with a good bit of experience in these things:

Having been thwarted in their pursuit of Harry Maguire, Barcelona have turned their attention to Michael Keane. Everton him will offer a new contract to keep him.

Everton Summer Transfer Thread - 2022

Spurs have increased their offer to include Winks, Moura and a "handful of magic beans". Everton playing for time until they can sign another target said to have "really big hands".

Great post. One thing that occurred to me is that while new owners might bring sponsors, we will also be 20m down on USM.

    Favorite Everton kits....

Ok, so it's not actually an Everton kit, but I really wanted one of these at the time (Everton sponsored Home Farm in the late 90s).

I suppose the fixtures mean that any potential permanent transfer dealings with Chelsea won't be completed until after the first game.

    2021/22 Richarlison

I've gone 360 degrees on this today - I'm right back to believing it won't happen. Doubt had crept in when thinking of it from Everton’s pov. It's a limited market - if Real & PSG are not interested it only leaves English clubs and Spurs are maybe the most likely this year. But... He's 25 -...
