But don’t we get the Arteta money if The Arse win the league? Good times.

That’s about as realistic as having a Doucore with two functioning legs.

Players you'd take from the relegated teams?

Given our budget of minus millions, we’ve probably got more chance of picking off the better players from the Championship sides that didn’t get promoted. *sigh*

    Our next manager?

I know it still hurts like it was yesterday but Walker’s not exactly recent past 😂

    Our next manager?

Not always because of the manager though. The board (and Billy Boy most of all) have cost us loads with the stupid contracts and crap running of the commercial side. That said, only Silva likely got the short end of the stick. Martinez was crackers and Frank was rubbish.

    I could well believe that.

    David Moyes

True, but we didn’t give him a reason to stay either. He’d been at top clubs and seen what a shambles we were behind the scenes. The amazing thing is that he lasted as long as he did.

I can’t see Bell throwing his own money at it. He’s made his piles of dosh from knowing the difference between good and bad investments. Taking the 51% stake would mean you’re taking on all that debt. More likely is that he’d broker a deal for someone else to take over.

    2023/24 Sean Dyche

This. You don’t have to like him but you do have to accept the situation we’re in, with no management leading the business. Right now, we need a Dyche/Moyes type who takes charge of all the nonsense and stops us falling further. There’s no room for manoeuvre until the ownership changes and...

Don’t be giving the PL ideas. They’ll be changing the rules to say four teams go down if we finish 17th.

Airfix models, lad, that’s what you want. Loads of plastic that drives you out of your mind so you end up sniffing the glue to get you through. Oh…no, that’s sitting in their end at the derby, isn’t it? Try Lego. Loads of little plastic people…oh, hang on a mo…
