Match Thread Everton 0-3 Spurs . Sun Oct 26th. 4.30

Hoof it to Beto until he's taken off around 65th minute. Spurs win and our fans fume because "we should be beating Spurs and it's all Beto's fault"

    Premier League Games Abroad?

So much football discussion is now based around finances and VAR. It's depressing.

New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

My biggest frustration is Boundary Street was open for the Roma game. 100+ cars parked down it. Then they blocked it citing "coach turnarounds" but the road is massive. Cars down the side and the coaches came through against Roma. It's a lot of cars now needing to find elsewhere. I want to take...

    2025/26 Thierno Barry

I'll judge Barry and Beto when 2 things happen: They get a run of games, not chopped and changed weekly. They look poor in a team playing well. I can't keep judging them when the entire team was awful first half. It's unfair to expect Barry to stand out, when no player did their job.

Match Thread Everton 2-1 Crystal Palace. Sun Oct 5th. 2pm

I'm confused why Palace turned up wanting to time waste? If they'd taken the game to us, it could've been over by HT. Strange way to play. Thought the ref was shocking once again. At one point, Tim shoved their player, a good foul to make, as he was away. Deffo a yellow. Wait...no, play...

    2025/26 David Moyes

Looking at it that way, I feel more optimistic. I've felt disappointed with our results, but before the season started, if you'd said a draw with Villa and Palace and 3 points off West Ham, I would've been happy. So whilst it's 3 against Palace. We've still achieved 5 points. Just such a shame...

    2025/26 David Moyes

I've said it before and it showed again on Monday night. My concerns are: His plan seems to be "get it to Grealish" and that's it. No plan B. No change of tactics or formation. His subs are predictable and like for like. We had the chance to either go 2 up top or get Grealish/Ndiaye behind the...

    Barry Vs Beto

It's also 5 games into the season and neither have had a run. Beto played 90mins in the stinker against Leeds. Then 26m against Brighton. Then 76m against Wolves and scored. Given a start again against Villa and did 75m. Then half a game against Liverpool. Barry got 4 minutes against Leeds...

    Barry Vs Beto

I feel for Beto. Last season he had 30 PL appearances. Totaling 1528 minutes. That works out at 50.9 minutes per game. Essentially 15 full games and he scored 8. With poor service. Surely with a run of games he finds confidence and starts scoring? My concern is Moyes. Starting Beto one game and...

Match Thread Everton 1-1 West Ham United 29th September 20:00

I have 2 concerns about the season ahead. Standing there at Wolves had me thinking (and worrying) 1, The plan genuinely seems to be "give it to Grealish". When he wasn't on the pitch against Wolves, we looked like the Everton of old. That cannot be our only tactic. Moyes needs to understand...

    2025/26 Beto

Terrible game and chances missed. But aside from a last minute pen, Liverpool were about to draw with Burnley. Despite spending a ridiculous amount on attacking players. It happens sometimes. Unfortunately, we've already written off Keane, Tarky, Mykolenko, Alcaraz, McNeil, Barry and Beto this...

Match Thread Everton 0-0 Aston Villa. Sat Sep 13th. 3pm

My main gripe (apart from the ref and Villa clearly playing for a draw) was both their full backs on a yellow, we immediately stopped running at them. I would've liked to have seen Dibling and Alcaraz on and running at Digne. Frustrating how many players refuse to shoot too and yet Gueye won't...

    Anyone read Duncs book yet?

I was enjoying the book when I first started reading it. Then it very quickly became like Alan Partridge "needless to say, I had the last laugh" I tried not to cringe due to my love of the big man. I stopped reading it. Yesterday, I discovered the audiobook version and was made up to listen to...

Match Thread Everton 0-0 Aston Villa. Sat Sep 13th. 3pm

We need to be up for this from the off. By us, I mean the fans. We're going to have good and bad games, but our job now is to forget the past and focus on making the new stadium bounce. We're far too on edge and ready to kick off.

    Ref analysis of Tarkowski handball.

We're not still going on about this are we? It was a blatant pen. Watch again as he tucks his arm behind his back. *slows the clip down* riiiiight....DER!! *points at Tarky's face* look, a sly smile begins to form as he leans ever so slightly into the path. Therefore, *deep intake of breath*...

Well he pretended to be a seagull against Brighton. A wolf against wolves. So I imagine sticking a dildo on his head.

    Other Clubs Transfer Window 2025-2026.

What if Barry's 5 goals are all 1-0 wins, gaining us 15 points and the other lads 20 are all a goal or goals in losses? What if Barry plays much fewer games than him? What if Barry assists 20 and he does 0? What if Barry makes incredible runs, lays it off to a player who then assists the...

    Confirmed Signing Jack Grealish

Fun fact: The rule wasn't actually brought in because teams were worried the loanee would purposely score an own goal against his parent club. Everton led the campaign to bring in the rule, because it was a certainty that our player would score against us.
