Agree. It’s the world we live in. I don’t do FB, insta etcetera but the majority of people seem to these days and people talk about very personal aspects of their lives on there. Good to see the club being represented and paying their respects.

My response may well be one for the awful takes thread but I hope the contract offers reflect the fact we were/are looking to add a few quality players for decent fees in key areas and trying to hold on to others as squad fillers.

I think the fee is about the going rate for a France under 21 player who scored double figures in a top league last season and has his physical attributes. If we want proven top class goalscorers then we’d be paying over double.

I’d tend to agree mate. The estimates from football finance writers are based on available evidence and not necessarily the totality of all of our income streams etc. Not saying it isn’t limited but only the club will know for sure how much we are prepared to spend.
