Points Deduction, Appeal & 2nd PSR Charge

It also appears that with each hearing the panels are becoming more lenient, probably as they are effectively part time 'judges' and have taken on board the growing unease about this whole PSR sh1tshow and don't really want to be the ones delivering relegation on behalf of a certain Richard...

Exactly. Man City must be laughing themselves silly while we and Forest are pointing fingers at each other.

Points Deduction, Appeal & 2nd PSR Charge

I hope we have deployed the same cooperation as Forest did for the second breach investigation. If so we can hope to have just the 3rd year punished to prevent double jeopardy, which would be a 2 points deduction, and then have 2 points reinstated for said cooperation.

Points Deduction, Appeal & 2nd PSR Charge

Have there been 3 separate and different panels for the 3 hearings so far? I presume there have been, which makes consistency and fairness just about impossible.

    2023/24 Ben Godfrey

Dyche is becoming just as stubborn as Martinez, Benitez and Lampard when it comes to certain players. He was the same with Keane earlier in the season.

Can't actually do either, as the penalty today and headed goals against, in the 2 previous games, showed.

    2023/24 Ben Godfrey

Dyche repeatedly selecting him is mystifying. He has nothing to offer at PL level. It's the equivalent of 10 v 12.

Points Deduction, Appeal & 2nd PSR Charge

This has to be the way forward or it'll be perpetually uncompetitive. If NFL can introduce something more akin to a level playing field, then so can other sports, including the PL. You could have salary caps, you could distribute the prize money equally rather than on finishing position, you...

Points Deduction, Appeal & 2nd PSR Charge

You're probably right in pinpointing the 'capped' meaning. In which case Myers is saying that the £55m will now be capped at £35m, whilst the subsequent £10m doesn't need capping, making a total of £45m to 'count' for 2 years before the 22/23 figures are added to complete the rolling three...

Hasn't he just got his dates wrong, stating 20-22 when he means 19-21, which totalled £114m?

Gow's point makes no sense. Firstly we have not been cleared of the first 'murder', and secondly the second 'murder' is essentially the same as the first.

Points Deduction, Appeal & 2nd PSR Charge

It might explain the delay in publishing the appeal outcome?

How can the appeal panel dismiss the 2nd charge? It's not their  remit.

That was after the punishment.I'm talking about before the punishment, and actually before the hearing too

Points Deduction, Appeal & 2nd PSR Charge

We need to make a lot of noise from tomorrow onwards if we are charged, like Andy Burnham has been doing. After the first charge we kept quiet largely because we didn't think that the penalty would be so severe. We can't make that mistake again. We need to make them think hard about what they...

It would appear that her appointment was that of an unqualified employee who wouldn't rock the boat, wouldn't ask awkward questions of the owner and chairman, and would agree to be the named victim of a phantom assault.

How, when last time we had months between the charge, the hearing, and the penalty?

    2023/24 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Worth remembering that because it was a cup game this appeal was with the FA not the PL (maybe why we won?) so the consequences for the referees next appointments would be minimal anyway.

Match Thread Everton v Chelsea - team prediction, Match Report & MotM Poll

Correct, and in contrast to those Sky 6 chummy blerts, Savage and Sutton on 5 Live last night gave Palmer the dive and cheat of the week accolade.
