    Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

i wouldn't be surprised if West Ham come in for him. Apparently they're having PSR issues themselves and they won't be signing Ferguson for the money Brighton want. The lure of London and a wage comparable to what he's been offered here will probably tempt him.

    2024/25 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

my concern would be the only manager that really got consistent goals out of him was Carlo, and as good as Moyes may be he ain't no Ancelotti, and Dom's body has been through a lot since then too. If he was to sign a new deal (personally i think for all parties its probably time to move), and...

    Richarlison

i think i'll depend on whether Spurs win the Europa League, They don't they'll need cash to make up what they will have budgeted for. If they do win it and get CL football they may be more suspectable to clearing the decks for a rebuild. A lot would rest on Richie too. If he wanted the move then...

    Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

who wants him? He's been linked to us under every manager since Benitez. I struggle to believe Rafael, Lampard, Dyche and Moyes have all been desperate to sign him.

Match Thread Brentford 1-1 Everton. Wednesday Feb 26th. 7.30pm

i thought going into it, it would be one game to many... and i thought we looked leggy but we didn;t give up, we still created the better chances and it was a deserved point in the end against a decent side. The difference between this and Dyche's Everton are night and day.

The Now-Irrelevant 2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

Media claim they play football the right way - which basically means they are wide open and the big teams can absolutely batter them.

    2024/25 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

with the exception of 1 season under arguably one o f the greatest managers to grace the game.. He's a very poor striker. He does good things, he wins everything in the air (pointless when there's no one around and no pace to race on to things) and he can hold the ball well (again, pointless...

Or Arsenal. Sounds like Jesus has done his ACL. He’d be a good plan B for them

    The return of David Moyes

it doesn't happen very often. Fergie, Wenger, Klipperty Klopp and Moyes from memory. You tend to earn the right to leave on your own terms which Dyche hadn't done.

    Jose Mourinho - Poll

i'm not saying i'd want Jose but if you're looking for a manager who could work with current players and squeeze that little extra out of them it's probably Jose. I want a progressive exciting manager but I'm terrified of coach coming in trying to get the likes of Doucoure playing Tiki Taka...

    Everton January 2025 Transfer Thread

That's assuming we went for him. Bobble said Romano massively jumped the gun and all we'd done was ask Villa about his availability and they were still to decide. If Ipswich have jumped in and offered 6m more than they paid for him only a few months ago i imagine that made Villa's mind up...

21m for a player that’s hardly played.. has no goals and no assists is mental. Just been ready Villa fans reaction and they think they’re taking Ipswich to the cleaners.

New Everton Owners: The Friedkin Group

I think of a lot people - fan media etc jumped on the Potter bandwagon in the hope they’d appear informed or in the know. TFG tend not to leak anything to the press (based on Roma) so wherever Sky etc got their info.. it wasn’t from the owners. I said earlier, I imagine it was actually...

New Everton Owners: The Friedkin Group

I think Potters people probably tipped the media about our interest in (what looks like a successful) attempt to get the contract he wanted from West Ham. I’m not sure TFG were that bothered by him. If they were they’d have hired him by now.

    2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

we've also had Christmas. They were never likely to sack him during the festive period. I agree, sacking him without a replacement makes no sense - and it's not how TFG operate. Look at Roma, they basically had a new manager ready to go the day they sacked the previous fella.

New Everton Owners: The Friedkin Group

Roma gives us a pretty good marker for how TFG operate. They don’t appear to have an issue pulling the trigger but they do tend to do it with a replacement ready, unlike Moshiri who would waste 3 weeks hiring a new manager. They also don’t speak with the press so anyone claiming they’ve heard...
