    New Everton Stadium Discussion

Yeah. I think I read or heard somewhere that LOR plan to hand it over in December, so presumably testing starts early 2025

    David Moyes

yeah. I hear ya and agree. I just really cant stand Dyche lol

    David Moyes

yeah but at least Moyes tries. I just get the impression Dyche can only set up a team to fight relegation. Moyes can get a team comfortably in to the top half. And I think Moyes has a better eye for a Bargain. Maybe bin Thelwell and save some cash!

    David Moyes

100% but if it's a choice between him and Dyche, I pick him.

    David Moyes

yeah. He'd be my choice. I know he has a disabled kid and is very family oriented. I'd say the England set up is about his speed.

    David Moyes

well obviously if it's clear that he has no coaching talent then swerve. Yea, we need someone proven but that's why I suggested he work under Moyes. He's played for a good few managers including Ancelotti and Trapattoni He's talked about coaching. He's captained a PL team for years. The likes...

    David Moyes

He could also be a good bridge to bring Coleman in to the management setup.

    David Moyes

better than Dyche but not what the club needs.

    Our next manager?

I have no idea who he is but already I'd opt for someone like this over Moyes or Howe.

    777 Partners - New Poll Added 18/10/23

purely playing devils advocate here... but it's an astronomical amount of money to come up with. If you rule out Sovereign wealth funds, absolutely everyone is doing this kind of messing to meet a price tag like this. if 777 work it out, that'll be the end of an era of abject apathy at Everton...

    2023/24 Sean Dyche

ha yeah. Definitely get the impression Tark was glad to get out from Dyche at Burnley only to be back with him at Goodison! Also, not sure what they made of Lampard but it's got to be quite the change from Lampard who presumably a lot of players grew up idolizing, to Dyche, who just got Burnley...

    2023/24 Sean Dyche

I'm so sick of the "there's no one to sack him" narrative everywhere I look online. The club has a director of football, and a CEO and the current owner and likely future owner were at yesterdays game. There is plenty of people who could sack him.

    Our next manager?

We dont need Howe or Moyes. We need fresh thinking. Carsley for me.

    2023/24 Sean Dyche

That might all be true but it's 2 wins from 19 over the last 5 months. I think a replacement for the last few games gives the team (and fans) the bump needed to get over the line. Even if it's Baines or Coleman. Goodison will be in full support for the remaining home games. There's enough senior...

    2023/24 Sean Dyche

come on mate. tonight struck me as the players having had enough of his coaching and having a go themselves only to completely collapse. I totally blame Dyche. Dunno the full story of what happened in portugal but that's a manager with zero respect from his players.

    2023/24 Sean Dyche

I just cant get my head around the people still making excuses for him after that. It's mind bending.

Match Thread Chelsea v Everton - Waffle, Match Report & MotM Poll

Ha, true. Thought Onana did well at center half against Ireland. Put him back there with Jarrad and Tark and kinda anyone else in front of them. 'Three at the back and any other seven you like Rachel please'!

cool, thanks for that. I guess I'm wondering if this is standard practice these days. Does the roof of the Spurs statdium have like 8 layers?
