    2023/24 Sean Dyche

One of the papers yesterday said that it definitely wouldn't be Bayern for De Zerbi - but who knows?

    Barkley..again

I have posted before on this, he has the skills but does not have a "football brain". Takes the wrong option far too often, and at 30 I would rather invest in a younger player that could earn us some money in the future.

    Season Summary 2023-24

Can I also add to that the work of the coaching staff - the fitness of the players also is part of the lack of injuries.

Could be,in part, that we have put the 3rd most crosses into the box

You may be right, but sincerely hope you are wrong.

    2023/24 Kevin Thelwell

Not sure that this is true, the jury is still out on Beto - likely to find out for sure if he has an extended run in the first team. Young & Coleman were both supposed to be finished last year but we ended up with the best defensive record outside the top 3 in the Premier League. Young in...

    Everton in 2024

Personally I believe he has brought a sliver of hope, rather than the resigned slump of the shoulders when next season is discussed. May not quite be glass half full, but maybe that would be possible if we progress again.

    2023/24 Jarrad Branthwaite

I think this depends on who you are at the club, I agree the suits will want to sell but doubt very much if that is true of Dyche and the coaching staff - unless they have identified someone that they believe could replace him, and that is unlikely at this stage.

    Everton Summer 2024 Transfer Thread

Martin Terrier was mentioned in a previous transfer thread but is likely to be too expensive, even with only 12 months left on his current contract

Park the bus and sneak one late on 0-1. NB must check my meds.

    The Great Everton Fire Sale

I think some of these valuations are a tad optimistic eg £15mil for Maupay, plus Keane is under contract for another year as is Holgate - a prospective buyer would need to match their current wages so this is very unlikely.

This, for beating them in the FA Cup semi-final? 39 years is a long time to hold a grudge.

    Everton Summer 2024 Transfer Thread

Shouldn't we be looking for a younger option, he is 30, and still seems to take the wrong decision (run/pass/cross/shoot) too often.

    Luton v notts?

Do not want Forest to go down as a result of the points deduction, but that aside would rather Burnley stayed up as I am not aware of any pathetic comments from them, or their fans, directed at us. Neither Forest nor Luton can make that claim.

Is that the game or announcement of the team causing that?
