https://www.[Publication is blacklisted]/2024/05/05/everton-takeover-takes-new-twist-as-kevin-malone-jets-in-to-rescue-toffees-from-777-partners/ Looks like the cat is out of the bag.... or at least one of them.

I think the QE2 had just less than a 10m draught. Whether she could negotiate the locks is another matter. Hence the reason for the landing stage.

The old enclosure could accommodate over 20,000 on its own. The main source of the famous Goodison Roar.

    777 Partners - New Poll Added 18/10/23

No, Deloittes have been tasked with talking to the other interested parties to assess their suitability and if or not they can satisfy the premier league conditions etc.

    777 Partners - New Poll Added 18/10/23

I've only heard that they have been talking to Deloittes. Don't know what the outcome was, other than they've said that they're ready to go. No idea about the other parties that have been mentioned.

    777 Partners - New Poll Added 18/10/23

No evidence? The club's CEO himself, stated that there are other interested parties at his meeting with the shareholders. Deloittes have already been talking to them as reported by NYT and elsewhere. They don't have to declare anything until it suits them to do so. If this falls through, they...

    777 Partners - New Poll Added 18/10/23

Of course they are... they're after a premiere league club with a brand new stadium for less than the cost of the stadium. They're prepared to pull out all the plugs.... especially as they're spending other people's money in anycase.

    777 Partners - New Poll Added 18/10/23

My understanding is that these want a full takeover. They can meet all of the PL conditions and are ready to go now. I've no idea if they're interested in a partnership or anything like that.

    Jesus Christ, That's....

Great post.... Only correction: First photograph is of the Park End framework barrier, not Gwladys St.

    777 Partners - New Poll Added 18/10/23

Personally, I've never been convinced by 777. So, at first impressions, I'd say they are a significant improvement. If they are successful, only time will tell. I've no idea about other potential buyers.

Tbh, I think the fella in the bedsit mentioned yrs ago might be better than 777. The only name I've heard mentioned is of very similar background/status to say LFC's owners. Whether their strategies/approach would be similar or not, I've no idea.

Best atmosphere at GP you've seen

Bayern... was taken to a game on the run in to 1970 championship. Was only a youngster but can still remember the noise. A few in 85 were fantastic

    New Everton Stadium Discussion

There's a great book called "through the turnstiles" which shows every club's averages up to the Premier league era. Everton were probably the best or 2nd best supported club in the league right up to to the 60s. To show how things change, when we came up in 1954, our averages in the 2nd Div...

    New Everton Stadium Discussion

The Irish have been travelling to watch Everton for generations.... in fact far longer than they have any other club. On top of that, something like 75% of the city's population is of Irish descent and in the days of half and half bobble hats many were half celtic. So, to hell with Liverpool and...
