Well the world transfer fee went from £90m to £200m in 12 months, I'm pretty sure a Chelsea reject was not worth £40m in January; or Kyle walker being worth £50m.

Sigurdsson is a player you've even said you'd like here, we are doing all we can to get him here.

We're in an era that has just seen a player go for £200m. Looking at fees and trying to find some kind of logic in them has long gone.
