Would be nice to have him on the subs bench on Saturday. I'd love to know what the club think they've gained by haggling over a couple of million for the past month. I can see Bill sitting smugly thinking he's saved 200 grand but it's hurting the club. We need a striker and we've instead wasted a month on a less essential player, albeit a very good player in his own right.

My ma's on holiday with my sister in Melbourne at the present. She's quite elderly (85), but still has a huge zest for life in her. She's discovered Whatsapp, and every 10 minutes my phone pings with one of her incoming messages telling me what's she's doing, sending photos etc...quite cute really.

I love this thread. So much angst. I was 14 when we won stuff in the 80's and apart from 95 and a few short European adventures nothing since.

The winning feeling is great, but lads, come on, we do not have a title winning side here. No Steven, sharp, Southall, Radcliffe in this side.
