A follow up thread on the one i done last year after i found out people had been doing tribute cruises in the memory of hollywood actor Paul Walker.

I can honestly say, hand on heart how sad i was that i totally forgot about Paul Walker day at Santa Pod on the 18th January. Here is the link of the report, and some wonderful photos from the gallery to look at.

It seems the fault of the crash an the deaths was not due to the high speeds but the manufacture of the car is to blame.

Nearly six months after Paul Walker and Roger Rodas' tragic deaths in a horrific car crash, Rodas' wife is suing Porsche, reports TMZ.
Kristine Rodas claims the Porsche Carrera GT her husband was driving with Walker in the passenger seat had a faulty part in the suspension causing the accident, according to the lawsuit filed Tuesday.
She further alleges that her husband failed at his attempts to keep control of the car due to the faulty mechanics.
Rodas is placing the blame for the car exploding on impact on Porsche because the vehicle lacked a proper "crash cage" and a "racing fuel cell," which prevents the fuel from igniting on impact and is common in race cars.
"Carrera GT is as close to a race car as we will ever get,"
she said quoting the luxury car brand's description of the vehicle.

I'm sure that tests will prove the same outcome if the car was doing the speed limit of 30mph, i only hope justice is the winner in this case.

I'm 100% certain that they won't.

The drivers wife claiming that the car was doing 55mph is laughable. There's no way on God's Earth the wreckage from that crash was the result of a 55 mph shunt.

It is crazy really, suppose its easy to blame Porsche instead of thinking " Sweet Jesus, what a dick my husband was for speeding around the streets at 100 mph "

I reckon she will win the case.
