Cork Evertonian

Player Valuation: £50m
I'd like to see Sheffield Wednesday go up here, although Sunderland have been down there too long already. I wouldn't begrudge Wycombe getting promoted either, as long as that plastic irrelevant franchise of a club MK Dons don't go up, that's the main thing imo.

I have a soft spot for Sunderland since 73 , Stokoe (RIP), Montgomery brilliant in goal, Porterfield (RIP), Kerr, Tueart, and the original Dave Watson. I think everyone was delighted when they shocked Leeds in the Cup Final - well except Leeds fans

Sunderland have won a major trophy, more recently than their deluded horse punching neighbours! No one can take that away from them.

mk dons . For the only reason that I haven’t been there. If we go down I’ll be able to tick it off with the toffees.

in an ideal world though we stay up and sheff wed go up

I remember back in the late 90's, there was talk about Wimbledon relocating to Dublin.

I'm not sure how that would have worked out, would the locals have abandoned their slavish devotion to the rs and Man United, to support the new franchise?

Personally myself i doubt it, and the Dublin Dons probably would have folded within 5 years.

It was a daft idea. Dubliners who are active soccer fans (not bar stoolers) support Rovers, Bohs, St Pats, Shelbourne, even at the time Home farm, and to a lesser extent UCD.

No way that would have worked given the history and heritage of these clubs.

The late Dermot Morgan was of course a fan of UCD. He was asked why does he attend UCD matches? The reply was because i hate crowds.lol

Sunderland win 1-0, it was a very poor performance by Wednesday, but i'm sure they'll raise their game on Monday night.

Great atmosphere tonight, and i imagine it will be the same at Hillsborough. Sunderland possibly might be disappointed, that they didn't score another goal.

Can’t stand Wycombe for what they tried to do to Derby, utterly classless in my opinion.

Even greater hatred for that tosser Akinfenwa.

MK Dons, Wednesday played some solid stuff this season.

Sunderland and Sheffield Wednesday have amazing fanbases and don’t deserve a side in the third tier whilst Bournemouth, Watford, Luton grace flirt with the top flight.
