2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

Eh? I'm sorry, have I not lowered expectations enough to your satisfaction or something?

Be delighted with a draw today. That would be one more point clear of Leicester and some kind of lift-off for Moyes.

I mean, if we were just going to write these games off as "expected defeats", we might as well not have bothered changing manager, waited another few weeks to see if our options had improved, and then appointed somebody.
I want us to win but at least give the man a chance.

Everton has to win at least 5 more games this season. We're past the half way point and we've only won 3 games. Assuming we'll win 5 is fanciful really. But you have to win home games against teams in and around you, and if you don't expect to win against teams who are missing literally 8 of their regular starters then you might as well accept relegation immediately.
Fanciful, really?

We will finish this season between 12th-15th place.

You can vault me in May.

Blessed Day Golden.

I they do Leicester will stay up.

He'll make them defensively more solid and they have a player or two that can snap up a chance.

Dyche is going to Leicester in a couple of weeks max. So we're left hoping that yesterday's man Moyes has us 5th from bottom and with breathing space in this relegation fight when he does just to give us a chance.
Hope you're enjoying yourself mate 🤪

So far, and allowing for Spurs being dreadful, it is a performance that underlines that there is plenty within this group of players not to be where they are.

That's all I'm asking to see. If they show it more often than not between now and May, we do not need to be fearful.
