Actually, I feel a bit sorry for Ipswich, a fine club with a great history. Bobby Robson's side was one of the finest I have ever seen.

It's a sad state of affairs when they can't even compete with a doped Man City. It's really killing the game that such corrosive inequality is actively encouraged by the Greed Is Good and Human Rights Are Optional League.

….that’s true. We were desperately in need of pace and after a very good start (he got a couple of England caps) his form fell away. It was in one of those England games I immediately realised his limitations in possession at that level.

He was ok for us but not as good as I hoped.

Yes I meant Godfrey at his best was as good as Ratcliffe at his worst! Yes he came in as a left back and then became an amazing left sided centre half and the rest is history.

Genuine question, what do you mean doped?
Ive heard reference to them using inhalers or something also, just curious??
