Survival is as much a mentality thing as it is anything else
What you can NEVER do in a situation like this is rest on the laurels, and that goes for everyone, supporters included
Until you're safe, you're not safe, and you can't drop the intensity one little bit until you're over the line
It's been SUCH a drag having to maintain that kind of intensity for, now, four seasons on the trot, and it's no surprise that Goodison has been so flat for most of this season
It wears you down, but you have to just pull up your socks and get on with it in the hope that you once again survive and next season you finally kick on and finish higher up the table with less stress attached to it
I hope we stay up and next season we don't need one of these threads, but right now it's a survival season and we need to get it right once again as a fan base, like we've done the past three seasons
If they don't pull the plug on RvN and hire Dyche that isLet's beat Leicester before sucking each other's optimism.
Chelsa will batter Wolves.
3-0.
What?![]()
Honestly I think it depends on whether we can have a sustained run and break away from the pack, and also whether someone else has a bad run and drops in
The only team I could really see the latter happening to is Palace, and even then it's unlikely
Spurs, United and West Ham will all be fine
If Palace lose 3-4 on the bounce whilst someone like Us, Wolves or Ipswich can put a run together at the same time, then they could always get dragged into it again and then they have to get a survival season mentality going from a standing start whilst the rest of us have been dog fighting all season and will arguably be better equipped to handle it mentally
Shops at Safeway. We are as safe as Mr Safe who lives in Safetown, Safesville.
Wouldn’t be surprised if he not a Wolves player by the end of the window.
Vitor speaking out quite a bit on individual players, mostly their good ones like Lemina and Cunha, could all start going badly there if results continue to be poor.

City will probably finish 2nd.Even with their talent, they’d still need something like 75 points to stay up. Their form today suggests they will, their form before Xmas suggests they couldn’t.
