2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

Not sure, can just remember seeing it in our local "Express and Star", I would be surprised if he has signed it, can't see him staying around if they go down

You'd imagine from his point of view it's simply a pay rise between now and when he's inevitably sold in the summer... he'll want favourable release clauses which could be a sticking point.

Here's hoping for a bit of dressing room unrest!

Pereira criticising Cunha's attitude for Wolves. Might have a point but probably not advisable to fall out with your best player.

…..I noticed a teammate having a shot in the 2nd half and Cunha wasn’t hiding his disgust that he should’ve passed to him. Super talented but he’s a bit of a loose cannon who could actually disrupt the dressing room.

If the manager wanted a word, he should’ve done it in private.

I'm just wary now because of Dyche. We have had opportunities in the past where we have on paper and easy run and we have crumbled. Just want to look at each game as it comes and make sure we don't leave anything in the tank once we have left the pitch. I'm confident Moyes will make sure of that.

There is a calmer vibe among this thread now but tbh as good as it was just seeing Everton attack more im already dismissing the Spurs game. It was a good time to play them. I think the next two will tell us a lot more. Brighton away is very tough. I want to see the shape of the side under Moyes first time away.
And then leicester. Well that just speaks for itself. If we can win that its a hell of a nail in the coffin for their chances of staying up.
We're right in the thick of relegation still.

Seems to be a Brazilian trait

Even richarlison was a bit sulky at times and took pens when he shouldn’t have

There looked to be a fair bit of dressing room unrest already under Gary O’Neil. Oddly enough replacing him with the craziest manager in world football doesn’t seem to have calmed things down.

I guess whatever the driver. Whether he wants out, they want him out, bad man management, it would be a real issue for them in their relegation fight. Don't think they easily replace his output.

Wolves on paper are so much better than this

It makes no sense whatsoever that they're in this situation

I keep thinking that they'll go on a prolonged run that gets them out of it, but it just never happens

At least with the other four teams in the mix, it makes sense

We can't score, Ipswich can't defend, Leicester made the wrong managerial appointment, and Saints are a Championship team in a division too high for them

What's Wolves' excuse?
There exc

I did think Leicester would regret sacking Cooper. He was keeping one of the weakest squads in the league competetive every game and they were outside the relegation zone. It would have been a struggle for him but I don’t see them being pointed 7 games in a row under Cooper, he’d have got a few draws in there at least and kept them in the battle. Now they’re looking doomed.

One thing I will say, is that I’m glad we removed Moyes from the manager’s market right now.
Would have been most Everton thing ever he sends us to the championship in time for bramley managing ipswitch.

The cherry on top of everything that's happened since he left.
