2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

….i looked yesterday and most firms hadn’t re-assessed their markets. I think we were a best 5-1 before the Brighton win, so 11-1 is good news but it can all change quickly.

Yeah. Its about right too, its unlikely but still possible. Can't let our foot off the gas, need to take full advantage of this momentum currently as inevitably there's still plenty of defeats still to come.

100% this, a good old fashioned 6 pointer, we definitely can't lose this as it opens everything up
It's just not the Everton way.

Mate when was the last time we did anything to make our lives easy.

IF...which is a big if,we got a result that would be the clearest indication we'd more than fine, lose it and we're probably looking at it going to the wire.

Looking for a Spurs reaction today, hopefully they put Leicester to the sword good and proper.

Although a loss against Leicester would be a massive blow, I’m not sure it would be this significant. The last 2 victories have given us some wiggle room… if we were going into the Leicester game on the back of a combination of draws/losses from the last 2 then the pressure would be really on, and a loss would feel catastrophic.

Hopefully the small cushion we have will allow us (players and fans) to relax a bit, which will only help.

In the games we won against Leicester at Goodison. We have basically been in control, with Vardy none existent. then suddenly he and Leicester wake up the last 25 odd mins and we get battered and just about hang on. Still a game we should win, and the only worry been Everton fans as said is we always make games we should/could win, hard.

Vardy is 37 now and they're still playing him upfront on his own every week. We need to go for Leicester in same way we did against Villa and Spurs. They give up lots of chances if you get at them, so that's what we need to do. I feel more confident that we'll do that under Moyes than Dyche.

It wouldn't be significant but you could more or less say that would be us out of the fight providing Wolves and Ipswich slip up.

I'd just want us for once to do whats needed so we're not all having a nervous breakdown come May.

More than anything it would be nice to leave Goodison not having the threat of relegation hanging over us for once.

Huge WIN and great set of results from our rivals.

Fantastic performance and Moyes to his credit has done his job already. A real team job!

The club is uniting and honestly never thought I would say it but Moyes is the right man for this job especially after years of mismanagement.

Only downside was key injuries to DCL and Mangala who will need to be addressed.

Next week is again a perfect opportunity to stretch our lead before the Derby.
