Managing these so called bigger clubs are more trouble than they're worth.

This. And despite name recognition around the world, seems the fan base is only loyal when winning and that’s it. The fan support for Spurs is thin. If Spurs really struggled the way Everton has the past few years, they’d be in huge trouble.

Through PSR and everything else, Goodison always had the players’ backs. Look at how the rats left the sinking ship with Man City this year. Despite sitting at 4th, their fans pretty much suck. If you’re not winning the treble or you’re staring down the barrel of PSR charges (which of course would never be applied to Citeh), then why support the club? They can’t handle the slightest adversity.

So much more coverage about Man City and Spurs struggling this one season as if the PL would implode. And when we were getting hit with PSR and losing seasons as nauseum there was no support. The PL wouldn’t think about us a minute after being relegated.

Must not lose next week now. Interesting to see how Moyes deals with it if we are drawing with 20 to go. Hopefully he doesn’t revert to subbing on defenders & sitting deep, remember too many occasions conceding late on in his first stint.
