2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

Wonder what the odds are on a Leicester double relegation?

They've craftily avoided points deductions last two years but EFL quickly gave Sheffield United -2 deduction as soon as they were relegated last season.

They also had a better squad last time they went down e.g. Dewsbury Hall and a few more motivated players.

Should've sacked RVN at least six weeks ago as they are currently 8 points worse off than at this stage two years ago.

Looks a shell of a club and squad currently.
I don't think they can sack him because of PSR.

This might be the worst 3 teams ever to go down. We've got saints on course to break derby's record and the 2 others will be lucky to break 20 points. The Premier league, with a few exceptions, will be a 17 team league with the 3 coming up going back down from now on.

Leeds may break through the glass ceiling but other than them what club is going to stick?

It needs a combination of things. Experience, a striker who can score and a prove manager.

Fulham had all those coming up with Mitrovic and Marco Silva but they had to yo yo a couple of times to do that.

Forest signed about 200 players but ultimately somone like Gibbs White dragged them over the line and now he's kicked on and key part of side that will likely finish 3rd.

Best guide is Bournemouth. Didn't come up with an amazing squad but they quickly decided five games in Scott Parker wasn't much good at this level and that was a good decision in the long run so I think that's the key for the likely promoted clubs now especially as Parker is managing one of them! Same for Leeds with Farke.

Southampton would not be as bad as 9 points if they'd sacked Russell Martin in September I'm pretty sure.

Not really sure why people think leeds or wel any of the other teams coming up next year will be any different. Dont think any of the teams have any real quality, then i look at the league teams been down the bottom us eso who will finally have money to inprove this squad. Wolves maybe becuase of replacing cunha. But cant really see any other teams really fighting hard next season to stay up, be the 3 promoted for me

Saints and Tractor Boys have at least seemingly tried, they’re just not good enough

Leicester have been atrocious at all levels this season

Terrible effort levels from the players, terrible coaching and terrible management at executive level

One of the worst sides in Premier League history
Think southampton should have done better back to back promotions is ipswich problem have gave it ago just lack the quality. Leicester is just toxic would be worried if i was a fan of them. I just look at them and think could have been us without us fans helping motivated this squad to stay up
