2024/25 Relegation Thread

The december fixtures is going to kill us

Yep. Wolves is huge but is sandwiched between Man. United and RS so that will take a toll given the limited amount of rotation with the injuries (and there will likely be more of those in December).

Forest at home certainly isn't as winnable now as previous two years with the form they're in. Hopefully they have a more middling run then but that game is just three days after Man. City away so a heavy defeat and a couple of injuries/suspensions would make that task far harder.

And the incoming owners? Are they not worried watching their investment for which they are about to pay hundreds of millions of pounds circle the drain? It’s about to lose half its value overnight if we go down. Someone needs to pull the trigger and very very quickly or this could end in disaster
Friedkin is probably going to be in place before Christmas (could even be this month) and we’re 4 points above the bottom 3. Doubt he’s massively worried yet, he’ll have an idea of what he wants to do but unless he gives Moshiri the money, it’s not going to happen until he’s in place.

It's hard now not to see it baked in that we'll be in the final stretch of games from the stadium move and not knowing what league we'll be in when we get there.

They would have to sack Dyche this week to have a chance of avoiding that and still it would be unlikely.

Some minion working for TFG has an Excel file or similar somewhere with built in macros for the R-scenario and what it means in $$$$. They will have to familiarise themselves with it just in case.

Table going into the transfer window will be very very grim. Even with a mini war-chest, we will be shopping in the oops section. If there is a bounce to be had, not sure we can hold out for long. Potential to be in a nervy panicky tailspin very soon.
